1 Live Plant - Huernia thuretii - Bare roots #KYPS16
Huernia thuretii Family: Apocynaceae (Asclepidaceae). An attractive Stapeliad with lemon yellow flowers. This differs from the standard H. thuretii in having pure yellow flowers instead of spotted ones. The plant is small but clumps readily. Flowers are most common and numerous in the late summer and fall but can bloom any time of year if happy. In higher light these plants can take on purple highlights, in shade they are green. They can take some direct sun, but aren't full sun plants. These flowers have no strong scent, so you don't have to worry about it stinking up your house (lots of Stapeliads smell like rotting meat). Takes normal succulent care. Avoid hot afternoon. Protect from frost. Keep very dry in the winter unless you have good growing conditions. Stapeliads can be quite rot prone if kept too moist especially in the winter.
