Deer Resistant and a bright blue--this flower will bloom all summer long in containers, hanging baskets, on the ground. It makes for striking ground coverage.
Plant in full sun to partial shade. If in a sub-tropical or hot climate keep it in the shade or water the roots heavily.
Germination Instructions: If it's already hot outside, start the lobelia seeds indoors however put the starter tray in a sunny window as these seeds require light to germinate. After moistening the growing medium, place the seeds over top without pushing them down except enough to make them stay put on the surface. Moisten the seeds and the surface once seeds are in place taking care not to pour water so hard on the seeds that they sink down (misting is fine). Keep it moist daily and expect germination to occur within 21 days. When sowing in final spot, figure 10 seeds per plant to ensure a bushy area of coverage
